Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibeh, discussed today, in the interim capital, Aden, with the Resident Representative of the World Health Organization in our country ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health sector.
The Minister of Health stressed the importance of supporting the implementation of a campaign directed at fever vectors and targeting their hotspots, especially after they spread due to rain and high temperature, contributing to strengthening the health system, strengthening the information and documentation system, providing advisory support in setting up and planning projects, evaluating and monitoring, and adopting methodological training developed for performance and capacity building.
For his part, the representative of the World Health Organization affirmed the organization's readiness to adopt interventions that strengthen the health system, build a staff capable of implementing this, and capable of working to build a unified work team.
