General al-Eradah discusses with UK ambassador latest developments in Yemen

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Sultan al-Eradah discussed Wednesday with UK Ambassador to Yemen Richard Oppenheim latest developments in Yemen.

The meeting touched upon efforts exerted by the Presidential Leadership Council and the Government for alleviating humanitarian suffering caused by Houthi terrorist militia in different provinces.

He confirmed positive interaction of the council with all initiatives aiming at solving Yemen's crisis on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the Security Council's Resolution 2216.

Al-Eradah reviewed many concessions made by the Presidential Leadership Council to the envoy of the UN Secretary General and its continuous support to him during the past period, renewing keenness of the council on making his efforts and all international and reginal efforts successful.

He expressed hope that the United Kingdom and Permanent Member States in the Security Council play their role in pushing the political process forward and solving reasons of the war and its repercussions on all domains.
