The official spokesman for the coalition forces, the "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki announced the arrival of (19) prisoners from the coalition forces at King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Al-Maliki said in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that among the prisoners were (16) Saudi prisoners and (3) Sudanese prisoners, as part of the prisoner exchange process in exchange for the release of (250) Houthi prisoners who left Abha International Airport to Sana'a.
Brigadier General Al-Maliki stressed that the prisoner exchange process is of great interest to the political and military leadership of the coalition to end the prisoner file and restore all prisoners and detainees. He appreciated the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, to support and make the prisoner and detainees reciprocation process successful.
