On the first day of this stage, a number of detainees are transferred and exchanged through Aden and Sana'a airports, including Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi and Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, who are covered by the UN Security Council resolution.
According to the statement, the government will work on the second day to transfer and exchange another batch of detainees with the militias through the airports of Abha, Sana'a, Riyadh, and Mocha, and on the third and last day of this stage, the exchange process will take place through the airports of Sana'a and Tadawen in Marib Governorate, including the four journalists who are unjustly sentenced to death.
The government team said that its commitment to launching the exchange process at the time specified by the International Committee of the Red Cross comes from a sense of national and moral responsibility and implementation of the directives of the political leadership represented by President of the Presidential Leadership Council, members of the Council, and the Prime Minister, and based on the results of the seventh meeting of the supervisory committee to implement the exchange agreement.
