Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Brigadier General Tariq Saleh met today evening, Monday, Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin to discuss the latest political developments in Yemen in view of the regional developments in the region.
Brig. Tariq confirmed the Presidential Leadership Council's support for every effort to make peace in Yemen.
" This is our conviction, we have repeatedly stressed on since the onset of the war as it is a strategic option to end the Yemeni crisis", said Tariq.
The conversation also touched upon the underway efforts to unload Safer oil tanker by the end of next May.
