Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak received Friday Undersecretary General of the United Nations for Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Ocean Khaled Khiyari.
The meeting tackled latest developments in Yemen and UN efforts for reviving peace process in Yemen, as well as means of exerting pressure on the terrorist Houthi militia to interact seriously with international efforts to launch inclusive political process led by the United Nations.
BinMubarak renewed Yemen's support to UN Special Envoy for Yemen and to all positive efforts to realize inclusive and sustainable peace in accordance with the approved references to ensure ending reasons of the crisis, banning violence and meeting aspirations of Yemeni people in building a national state respecting freedoms and rights.
