Al-Eryani renews call for halting Houthis' TV channels broadcasting from Lebanon
[15/03/2023 05:36]

KUWAIT-SABA
The Republic of Yemen participated in the 16th Session of the Executive Bureau of Arab Information Ministers held today in the Kuwaiti capital.

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani headed the Yemeni delegation to the gathering and contributed to the discussions.

He reiterated the Yemeni government's calls for halting the broadcasting of the Terrorist Houthi militias' TV stations which are operating from inside the Lebanese capital Beirut.

He explained that these media outlets have been promoting a divisive-sectarian-destructive discourse, very harmful to the Yemeni society.

The Minister indicated that the Iran-allied Terrorist Houthi militias have inflicted unspeakable systematic damages upon the Yemeni media institutions and journalists.

" Dozens of the Yemeni journalists have been imprisoned in the militias' jails for years, four of them have been illegally sentenced to death", said Muammer.
