Interior Ministry discusses coordination with OCHA

Deputy Minister of Interior for Security and Police Sector General Lieutenant Mohammad al-Amir discussed Sunday with the Resident Coordinator of UN Office of Humanitarian Affairs or OCHA in Yemen David Gressley enhancing cooperation and coordination between the ministry and the UN organizations.
Al-Amir praised efforts of the UN teams in Yemen, confirming keenness of the ministry on providing all facilitations for enabling them to do their tasks and humanitarian roles across Yemen.
He reviewed violations and crimes of Houthi terrorist militia against civilians, stressing necessity of taking serious action towards these crimes.
For his part, the UN official reviewed efforts of the UN organizations provided for helping civilians and displaced people in Yemen, praising efforts of the ministry's leadership and its cooperation with the UN teams.
