Ambassador Mousa Discusses Strengthening Cooperation with Secretary-General of Arab Economic Unity Council

The Chargé d'Affaires of Yemen’s Permanent Delegation to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Dr. Ali Mousa discussed Monday with the Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council Ambassador Mohamadi Al-Ni ways to enhance joint cooperation between the delegation and the council, as well as mechanisms for developing joint Arab action in economic fields and making better use of available resources.

Governor of Lahj General Lieutenant Ahmad Turki discussed Thursday with the delegation of the International Committee for the Red Cross in Yemen headed by Field Officer of Yemen's Office Simon Muller priorities of developmental projects in different domains led by health and water.

The meeting touched upon possible field visit to frontlines and warfronts in Tor al-Baha and Karesh by ICRC's team to understand closely their needs followed by al-Musaimeer and al-Had within the committee's future plans.

Governor Turki praised all humanitarian activities implemented by the committee in Lahj's districts for improving livelihood of the people and displaced people, whose number is 18 thousand family and eight thousand families refuged from countries of the Horn of Africa.
