Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bajjash, discussed today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to our country, Mustafa Polat, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, and coordinate positions on issues of common concern.
Bajjash praised Turkey's firm stances towards Yemen, its government, its unity and stability, appreciating Turkey's support for the Yemeni people towards the suffering and humanitarian crisis imposed by the Houthi militia.
For his part, the Turkish ambassador renewed his country's support for the government and everything that guarantees the unity, security and stability of Yemen and achieves the aspirations of the Yemeni people and supports the international efforts being made to find a comprehensive political solution in accordance with the agreed terms of reference.
