BinMubarak phones GCC Secretary General on latest developments in Yemen

Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ahmad Awadh BinMubarak phoned Wednesday Gasem al-Budaiwi congratulating him of being appointed a Secretary General for Gulf Cooperation Council, hoping him success in his new duties.

BinMubarak renewed appreciation to GCC efforts supporting the legitimacy in Yemen and providing developmental and relief assistances to alleviate suffering of Yemeni people.

He pointed out to latest developments in Yemen and regional and international efforts to renew the humanitarian truce and to build on it to realize permanent peace and ending the war, pointing out to the role of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Government in regaining the state institutions in the transitional capital of Aden.

For his part, the GCC Secretary General renewed the firm position of the council in supporting the constitutional legitimacy represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and support to international and regional efforts to realize peace in Yemen on the bases of the three internationally-agreed upon references.
