A Decree no (18) of 2023 issued today, Sunday, by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council its first article states that Military Units named (Homeland Shield Forces) shall be established to be the Reserve of the Commander-in-Chief.

Second article of the decree states that the Commander-in-Chief shall decides the total number of these forces, tasks and operations theater by an operational mandate shall be issued by the Commander-in-Chief.

Third article states that these forces shall be governed by the Law of Service in the Armed Forces, the laws in relevance and the directives of the Commander-in-Chief

Fourth article states that this decree shall be put into its effects from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the official gazette and military bulletins.
