Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi said" We're peace-seekers, but it must be fair, inclusive and sustainable peace, based on eliminating the coup, reinstating the official authority".
His comment came during his conversations today, Wednesday, with the Acting- Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Kazoo Higashi.
Dr. Al-Alimi briefed Higashi on the developments relating to the political, military, security, economic and humanitarian situations in Yemen, as well as regional and international efforts aiming to achieve peace.
The Member of the Presidential Council highly praised the Japanese government's stance in support of the Yemeni peoples and government, deeply appreciating Japan's significant contributions to the humanitarian actions in Yemen.
The Japanese diplomat reiterated his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the regional and international efforts to make peace.
