King Salman Center's Demining Project removes over 1000 Houthis-laid landmines in a week

King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" pulled out more than 1207 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the second week of January 2023.

The Center reported that MASAM's deminers removed 14 anti-personnel, 115 anti-tanks landmines, 1077 UXO and one explosives devices.

This amount of landmines laid down randomly by the Terrorist Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.

Since it has commenced its demining mission MASAM removed 382 thousand and 94 landmines from different parts of Yemen.
