The head of Aden Free Zone Authority, Hassan Al-Haid, discussed with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Chinese Embassy to Yemen Shao Zheng joint cooperation between the two countries, especially with regard to developing the work of the Free Zone Authority within the framework of the "Silk Road Project" plan.

The meeting touched on many axes related to the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, and how to provide the necessary support to improve the investment environment in the free zone, and to take the necessary measures to improve the work of the container port.

The head of the Free Zone Authority in Aden stressed the importance of the role played by the People's Republic of China in providing the necessary support for various Yemeni issues, and the development interventions implemented by China in many development, economic and humanitarian fields, in addition to enhancing joint cooperation in developing investment fields in the free zone in various industrial, commercial and warehousing projects.
