Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technical Education Dr. Khaled al-Wosabi met today, Monday, with American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin.
The session intended to discuss aspects of cultural relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The conversations touched upon teaching English language programs in Yemen which used to be supported by the American embassy, American scholarships, visits exchanges in higher education and reviving the International Visitor Program.
The Minister sought for U.S.A support for higher and technical education institutions which have been badly affected amid war-years.
The American Ambassador confirmed the American support for Higher Education Ministry and training and educational programs.
He noted that it is important to keep contacts and make necessary arrangements in the coming period about further collaboration in higher and technical education.
