Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed Monday with Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Al-Nafti, developments in Yemen, the continued escalation by the Houthi terrorist militias, with the support of the Iranian regime, and its repercussions on the domestic situation and the security of the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.

Oil Minister, UN official disscuss efforts to develop the economic conditions

Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Saeed Al-Shammasi, discussed today in the interim capital Aden with the advisor of the United Nations Resident Representative for Economic and Development Affairs in Yemen Chris Johnson, the development projects required to revive the Yemeni economy.

The Minister stressed the government's seriousness in achieving reform of state institutions in various sectors and focusing on implementing and stabilizing projects of a developmental and qualitative nature that serve citizens primarily in all governorates and push the development process in the country noting that the crisis that the country is going through has exacerbated the economic problems in various Sectors and the present time calls for a required change in the development of the quality of the services provided.

He praised the positive roles played by UN and international organizations in supporting the legitimate government’s efforts over the past years and standing by it and helping it move from the emergency to sustainable projects phase.

He stressed that the ministry takes into consideration all the efforts required by the development process and will receive all support and facilities for tt achieves the desired benefit from these projects.
