General Prosecutor Qaher Mustafa discussed Wednesday with Deputy Coordinator of the International Committee for the Red Cross's Protection Mission in Aden Livan Catchrba and Medical Jurisprudence Specialist Jini Heyoz promoting cooperation.
Attended by Minister of Justice Badr al-Aredha, the First Prosecutor Judge Fawzi Saif and the Secretary General of the Supreme Judiciary Council Ali Atboush, the meeting touched upon establishing the National Center for Medical Jurisprudence, reviewing accomplished phases and steps, recommendations of establishing it as demanded and way of defining the working group of the ICRC with participation of Prosecution and other concerned bodies to tackle the problems of accumulation remains in the hospital mortuaries.
Mustafa confirmed significance of cooperation between ICRC and the Prosecution through establishing a joint committee to be associated with medica jurisprudence, praising the role of ICRC in promoting medical jurisprudence in Yemen and training and qualifying cadre in this field.
