His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council met today, Tuesday, with His Excellency President Abdullatif Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, on the sidelines of the Arab Summit Conference hosted by the Republic of Algeria.

In the meeting, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council congratulated President Rashid on his election as President of the Republic of Iraq, wishing his government and brotherly people all progress and prosperity.

The two presidents exchanged talks on the developments in the Yemeni and Iraqi arenas, and ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields.

The meeting also touched on the priority issues on the Arab summit table, and the efforts required to strengthen the institutions of joint Arab action and push it to broader horizons in facing the challenges facing the nation.
