The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Al-Jarandi, on the sidelines of the preparatory meetings of the League Council of Arab Foreign Ministers at the summit level, the 31st regular session in Algiers.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing and developing them, and it was agreed to prepare for the political consultation committee and activate the work of the joint committee between the two brotherly countries as soon as possible.
Dr. Bin Mubarak reviewed the recent developments in our country in light of the Houthi militia's rejection of all peace efforts and their recent escalation by targeting oil installations in the Hadramawt and Shabwa governorates, praising Tunisia's firm stances towards Yemen and its issues and its support for the legitimate Yemeni government.
