BEIRUT- SABA
Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Beirut Abdullah Adoais protested the sectarian media discourse by the two Beirut-based TV channels of Almasirah and Assahat.
He complained about the two TV stations' sectarian propaganda as he met today, Wednesday, with the Lebanese Minister of Information zyad al-Makari
The two media outlets associated to the terrorist Houthi militias have been broadcasting hostile media discourse, misleading reports, promoting sectarian violence to prolong the war in Yemen.
Adoais said" The two Beirut-based TV channels' broadcasting materials constitute damage to the bilateral ties between the countries, even though Yemen asked the Lebanese authorities to stop the two TVs broadcasting…".
The Lebanese minister promised to follow-up this matter with the authorities in charge to know what is done about Yemen's request to stop the two TVs' broadcasting.
