His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, returned today, Tuesday, to the temporary capital Aden, after a foreign tour that included the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federal Republic of Germany.
He also participated in the work of the seventy-seventh session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the new round, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council held talks with leaders of a number of countries, UN officials, politicians, diplomats, and researchers, as well as meetings with leaders and activists from the Yemeni communities abroad.
The talks touched on the developments in the Yemeni situation, ways to support economic and service reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, efforts to revive the peace path, and the international pressures required to push the Houthi militias and their supporters to deal positively with those efforts.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi expressed his satisfaction with the results of the presidential tour, including restoring the Yemeni cause to its global momentum, mobilizing regional and international support along with the Presidential Leadership Council, the government and their ongoing reforms in various fields.
