Al-Bahsani discusses with Chinese diplomat latest developments in Yemen

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council General Lieutenant Faraj al-Bahsani discussed Wednesday with Charge d'Affaires of Chinese Embassy in Yemen Chaw Chang latest developments in Yemen.

The meeting touched upon rejection of Houthi militia of extending the UN truce and resumed its violations in different warfronts and military escalation in stark stubbornness and rejection to all peace initiatives amid full commitment by the Presidential Council and the government to make the UN efforts regarding extending the truce successful.

Al-Bahsani reviewed the role of Hadhramout and its historical heritage and openness of Hadhramis to all peoples through their trade activities, confirming significance of Hadhramaut in any political project in Yemen.

He praised mutual relations between the two countries and significance of improving them, praising Chinese positions supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the legitimized government of Yemen.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat confirmed commitment of his country on supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the internationally-recognized government to realize peace in Yemen and protecting its territories.
