Socotra Governor meets delegation from leadership of the coalition forces for supporting legitimacy

The Governor of Socotra, Eng. Raafat Ali Al-Thaqali, met today with a delegation from the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, headed by Major General Sultan Abdullah Al-Baqmi, who is currently visiting the governorate.

In the meeting, Governor Al-Thaqali praised the efforts and generous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the governorate in various humanitarian and relief fields, as well as in raising the capabilities of military and security institutions to carry out their tasks in the correct and required manner.

Governor Al-Thaqali noted the service and development projects implemented by the SDRPY, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Saudi 808 Duty Forces, which included, to a large extent, education, water, transporting the stranded and other projects and interventions that achieved a positive impact in the Socotra community, pointing to the need Socotra archipelago has many development and vital projects to advance its reality and strengthen its infrastructure.
