Member of Presidential Leadership Council Maj. General Sultan al-Erada stated that the Presidential Council has offered much concessions in order to establish peace, security and mitigate the humanitarian crisis in the country.
As he met today, Thursday, with the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Richard Oppenheim, he stressed that it is very important to mount pressures upon Iran-backed Houthi militias to honor its commitments under the UN-brokered truce declaration including opening routes of Taiz and other governorates, pays salaries of the employees from Hodeidah seaports' returns.
They discussed developments in Yemen, the humanitarian truce, chances to renew it amid Houthi militias' violations.
The British Ambassador reiterated his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council, appreciating the steps taken by the Presidential Council to facilitate reaching political settlement, overcoming obstacles in this regard.
