Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammar al-Eryani strongly condemned the horrific crime committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia, which resulted in the death of five children and injury to others in the al-Arsoom area of the al-Hashmah region in the al-Taziah district, northeast of Taiz Governorate over the explosion of a locally-made explosive device.

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Mohammed Azaouri sought for further support by the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation for the woman, peace and security programs and plans and the projects for social protection and children protection.

This is came as he met today here in the temporary capital Aden with the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation's delegation headed by Magdalena Krishner.

The Minister touched upon the economic hardships and humanitarian challenges the Yemeni people have been struggling with due to Houthi militias' coup and war.

He noted that poverty rates have come up to 85%, highlighting the need to increase the Emergency Project for Monetary assistance that roughly covered 1.5 million people while it should cover at least 8 million.

The Fredrich Ebert Foundation's official confirmed that the foundation will establish its office in Aden, continue to support projects and establish relation with the national NGOs.
