President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi received Sunday Norwegian Envoy for Yemen Kjersti Tromsdal and Ambassador of Norway to Yemen Thomas Lid Ball discussing with them latest developments in Yemen and chances of realizing peace and stability in the county.
President al-Alimi praised remarkable improvement in Yemeni- Norwegian relations and support of Norway to peace efforts in addition to reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in different fields.
The meeting touched upon international pressures on Houthi militia to commit it to honor its pledges it made in the UN Truce.
The two Norwegian ambassadors talked about support domains provided by their country to Yemen, especially woman's participation, capacity building and different humanitarian interventions.
