Interior Ministry mourns members of the security belt in Abyan

The Ministry of Interior mourned the members of the Security Belt who were martyred at dawn today in Ahwar District, Abyan Governorate, in a terrorist operation, which resulted in the death of 21 security belt soldiers and the wounding of 7 others.

Eight terrorist elements were killed. The ministry affirmed that it will spare no effort in finding out who is behind the criminal operation.

It directed the security services to be vigilant and united in confronting terrorist elements, and to intensify investigations and follow-up to arrest all terrorist elements and those harboring them.

The Ministry of Interior warned everyone who works to harbor these elements and cover them up from legal accountability, stressing strengthening the importance of cooperation with the police and reporting suspicious movements so that the security services can fight terrorism and extremism.
