Today, in the interim capital, Aden, Minister of Water and Environment, Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, discussed with a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross the committee’s activity in the water, health and environmental sector and a number of current interventions.
which contribute to alleviating the suffering of the citizens. Minister Al-Sharjabi welcomed the submission of a working document to update the master plan for the city of Aden and the current water and sewage network, taking into account the current changes and the introduction of alternative energy and climatic changes .. directing quickly to support the idea and the need to come up with a road map for interventions in Aden.
The Minister of Water and Environment stressed the need to benefit from previous experiences and studies that were previously carried out in the 2009 master plan for Aden and build on the preparation of the document and the proposal for presentation to donors during the contact point that will be appointed by the ministry.
