Yemen's Ambassador discusses cooperation with Mauritanian defense minister

Yemen's Ambassador to Mauritania Salem al-Eradah discussed Thursday with Mauritian National Defense Hannah Ould Sidi means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in many fields, mainly defense.

Ambassador al-Erada reviewed latest developments and incidents in Yemen and the role of the Presidential Leadership Council in appeasing situations and realizing inclusive peace process amid Houthi militia's rejection to implement all its commitments it made in the UN Truce and continues violations, killing and injuring military affiliates.

Al-Erada praised Mauritania's central role in regional and Arab issues and its position supporting the internationally-recognized government and to Yemen's security and stability, expressing thanks for qualifying Yemeni officers and including them within key military courses in the Mauritanian military institutions.

For his part, the Mauritanian defense minister renewed his country's position supporting Yemen's issue and support to the Presidential Leadership Council, confirming continuous cooperation between the two countries in field of defense and different fields.
