Judiciary Council holds its first meeting after restructure

The Supreme Judiciary Council held its first meeting on Monday here under the presidency of Judge Mohsen Abu Bakr, the head of the Council, and after issuing decisions by the Presidential Leadership Council on restructuring it.
The Chairman of the Council Abu Bakr confirmed that the current stage requires integrated efforts from all and working as teamwork for bringing judges together and working on enhancing its role on and status for realizing peace and the rule of law.
The council discussed rights and duties of the judges and their demands to activate work in courts and prosecutions in addition to reorganizing their situations and mechanism of the council during the forthcoming period.
The council authorized the financial affairs management to prepare a vision through which the members of the judiciary authority and administrative will get healthcare and finalizing paying their bonuses over high cost of living.
