[04/08/2022 04:34]

MARIB - SABA
Deputy Governor of Marib Ali al-Fatemi discussed Thursday with Operation Director of Dutch organization Doctors without Borders or (MSF) humanitarian partnership between Marib's local authority and the organization.

The organization's team talked about the aim of the visit, which comes in the framework of tightening humanitarian partnership and evaluating interventions of the organization in the province.

Al-Fatemi praised the humanitarian role of MSF in the province and its support to health sector for facing challenges and improving health services, pointing out to low-level interventions of the partners of the humanitarian work to cover huge and increasing humanitarian needs imposed by war and natural disasters, which increased suffering of the displaced people and the hosting community.

The organization's team confirmed that the organization will work on providing help to alleviate suffering of the displaced people and the hosting community, especially under heavy rains and floods hit Marib recently and caused huge damages to hundreds of displaced families.
