A number of new ministers took the constitutional oath before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, this Saturday, following the latest cabinet reshuffle.
The sworn in ministers are Lieutenant-General Mohsen Al-Daari as Minister of Defense, Dr. Saeed Al Shamasi as Minister of Oil and Minerals, and Engineer Mane'a Bin Yamin as Minister of Electricity and Energy.
After they were sworn in, the President spoke to the new ministers in a guiding speech in which he stressed the importance of serious, honest and sincere work in this exceptional and difficult stage in the history of the Yemeni people.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council urged the defense, oil, and electricity ministers to work in the spirit of one team within the government of political competencies. He expressed his hope that the three ministries would witness a qualitative leap on the path of efforts to end the coup, restore the state, and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
