The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Interior Minister discusses with UN humanitarian coordinator promoting cooperation

Minister of Interior General Lieutenant Ibrahim Hidan discussed Monday with UN Deputy Humanitarian Coordintaor for Yemen Digo Zoria and the accompanying delegation promoting cooperation between the ministry of interior and humanitarian organization in Yemen.

The meeting touched upon aspects of humanitarian interventions to alleviate suffering of people over Houthi militia's triggered war in Yemen.

The two parties confirmed significance of activating communication and telecommunication between the two parties and holding more meetings between them.

Hidan confirmed that security forces are cracking down on sabotages and terrorist elements, which targets organizations and humanitarian work in the liberated areas and that the ministry will provide protection to UN workers to be able perform their work as demanded.

For his part, the UN official praised the role of the ministry to secure the work of UN humanitarian missions in Yemen and providing all facilitations to their field teams in different provinces.

He showed readiness for cooperation and coordination with the ministry to improve humanitarian work in Yemen.
