RIYADH - SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Othman Mujalli met Sunday with US Ambassador to Yemen Stephen Fagen discussing with him joint efforts of fight against terrorism and outlaw groups and necessity of deterring Houthi militia against playing with Yemen's security and stability and international maritime routes with support from Iran.

Mujalli confirmed necessity of integrating international efforts and support of the United States to the Presidential Leadership Council, the government and to Yemeni people to get rid of Houthi militia lesion, which dragged Yemen into a war damaged the people and the national economy and the militia is drying up capabilities of Yemeni youth and brainwashing them with hatred thoughts against the region and the world.

We have accepted the first and the second truce and our priority is peace not to handover our people to a terrorist sect represents the second phase of al-Qaeda and Daesh and carries foreign agenda, said member of the Presidential Council.

We face a thought practicing violence and "takfir" (labeling others as unbelievers,) dragging children into summer camps to feed them with hatred and recruit them as soldiers and are inciting them against Saudi Arabia to send them to die in battles, he added.

He pointed out that the US is prime partner in the fight against terrorism and has the responsibility of implementing international resolutions and support Yemen's legitimacy, which respect these resolutions.

For his part, the US diplomat praised the role of the Presidential leadership Council and its good dealing in extending the first and the second truce and provided all concessions that serve the interests of Yemeni people for the purpose of ending the war and realizing peace.
