Marib receiving over 35 thousand of Ethiopian refugees, says Dep. governor

Deputy Governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Meftah revealed that there are more than 35 thousand of Ethiopian refugees live in the governorate, beside the refugees from other African countries.
His remark came as he received today a delegation from the Ethiopian government headed by Salmon Tardirisa, Ambassador at the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry, he arrived in Marib accompanied by a team from the Organization for International Migration (OIM) tasked with implementing the voluntarily return program of the Ethiopian refugees from Marib governorate.
The discussions touched upon the practical steps of the voluntarily return program and the facilitations to be provided by the local authority to initiate the implementation of the first phase of the program which is targeting 1500 refugees.
The Ethiopian delegation voiced the Ethiopian government's thanks and appreciation for Marib local authority for its efforts to host the Ethiopian refugees and for the humane treatment with the refugees.
