President al-Alimi receives Dutch delegation

President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Rashad al-Alimi received today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands Peter- Derrk-Hov, and the Deputy General Director of the International Cooperation in the Netherlands' Foreign Ministry Berjetta Tazilar.

During the meeting, the President praised the Dutch support for Yemen and the strategic cooperation between the two countries in different fields.

The President talked about the reforms that the PLC is working on including the integration of the military and security institutions in pursuant to Riyadh Agreement and the economic, services and judiciary files.

Al-Alimi underscored the need for Dutch and international support for the Yemeni government's efforts to improve basic services and the economic situations.

The President pointed out to the PLC's support for the UN-led efforts to ensure the humanitarian truce's success, even though Houthi militia has continued to refrain from fulfilling its obligations, refuse to open the passageways to Taiz, reject to allocate the taxes revenues of oil derivatives to pay the salaries of the government's employees.

The Dutch diplomat provided a detailed presentation about the Dutch support for the development drive in Yemen and the coordinated projects to be carried out in the coming period.
