Finance Minister calls on donors to support govt's efforts to manage economic hardships

Minister of Finance Salim bin Bureik stated that Yemen has been going through difficult circumstances require joining all international efforts to provide the Yemeni government with more economic support to be able to improve basic services, living conditions and enhance economic stability.

During his meeting today with the Acting-American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Christopher Deutsch he called on the donors and International Community (IC) to effectively contribute to support the government's economic programs and projects to help improving the peoples' living conditions.

The Minister detailed the American diplomat on the measures have been taken by the government to manage the economic challenges.

The American diplomat confirmed the US administration's support for the Yemeni government and all efforts aiming to achieve stability and improve the economy.
