The second meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India and the Arab countries restated its firm commitment to the unity of the Republic of Yemen, its sovereignty, independence and the integrity of its territory, affirming its outright rejection of any interference in its internal affairs, condemning all actions aimed at undermining Yemen's security or affecting its territorial unity.

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een ordered accelerating efforts to make tangible improvement in the basic services, specifically in water and sanitation sector.

He stressed that efforts must be doubled to speed up the pace of basic services development to allay the populations' torment during summer time.

His remarks came as he chaired a meeting today in the temporary capital Aden with the leadership of the Ministry of Water and Environment.

The session devoted to follow-up the ongoing practical measures aiming to improve water and sanitation services in the temporary capital Aden and other government-held governorates.

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeq Asharjabi cited a package of projects worth $44 million have been endorsed to ensure sustainable water and sanitation services until 2025.
