Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Yemen, Japan discuss promoting relations between them

Chargé d'affaires of Yemen's Embassy in Japan Basheer Qasem met Monday with Under Secretary of Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Head of Middle East and Africa Department Kansoka Najoka.

The two parties discussed mutual relations between the two countries in different fields.

Qasem reviewed latest developments in Yemen, pointing out to government's commitment to the UN truce despite Houthi militia stubbornness and refusal to abide by the truce and implement its commitments, including rejection of ending siege on cities and opening outlets before citizens of Taizi people to end the siege imposed on Taiz for seven years.

For his part, the Japanese official confirmed readiness of his country to continue its humanitarian support to Yemeni people.
