The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, and his deputies arrived today in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, on an official visit that will last for several days.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council will hold official talks with the Emirati leadership regarding strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in the political, economic, security, military and reconstruction fields, and mobilizing political and development support for Yemen to face the repercussions of the war ignited by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against the Yemeni people.
In a press statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, which are deeply rooted in history, looking forward to further development in various fields for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, noting the UAE leadership, government and people's siding with Yemen and its people in various stages and circumstances, especially during this current exceptional stage, praising the heroic stance of the brothers in the UAE and their response to the brotherly call of Yemen through their active participation in the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
