A shipment of 25,000 tons of mazut arrived at the oil port in the temporary capital Aden today in completion of the eighth batch of the oil derivatives grant provided by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.
The total quantity of the eighth batch of the oil grant amounted to 85 thousand metric tons of diesel, of which 60,000 tons of diesel arrived on the 3rd of this April, and 25 thousand tons of mazut, bringing the total quantities received from the eight batches of Saudi grant fuel, 512 thousand. metric tons of diesel, and 257 thousand metric tons of mazut.
The oil derivatives grant, estimated at 422 million US dollars, aims to operate about 80 power plants in different parts of the liberated governorates.
