Basuhaib discusses with UNFPA financing development projects

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nizar Basuhaib discussed Wednesday with Representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Yemen means of defining international financing track and forthcoming international interventions to be assigned for sustainable development projects.

Attended by a number of deputy ministers and concerned officials, the meeting stressed significance of continuous cooperation relations and coordination between the ministry and the United Nations' organizations to contribute in meeting basic humanitarian needs of citizens affected by the war.

Basuhaib reconfirmed the ministry's welcome to work with all donors and partners and keenness on facilitating any challenges facing humanitarian and developmental activities.

For his part, the representative of UNFPA, reviewed the fund's plan for this year in Yemen as the plan requires different activities and programs serving the society.
