The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Yemen participates in meetings of IAEA Board of Governors

Yemen participated in the meetings of the March session of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency, with a delegation headed by the Permanent Representative of the country to the agency, Ambassador Haitham Shuja Al-Din.

In the meeting, Ambassador Shuja'uddin reviewed Iran's violations of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, calling on Iran to comply with its nuclear commitments within the framework of its comprehensive safeguards agreement and its additional protocol.

Shuja al-Din stressed the importance of Iran’s commitment to Security Council Resolution No. 2231 of 2015 regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action signed with Iran.. He called on Iran to stop its destabilizing behavior for security and stability in Yemen and the region, by continuing its support for the Houthi militia and providing it with weapons to target Yemenis and neighboring countries.
