Ministry of Interior directs granting Yemeni women passports without stipulations

The Ministry of Interior directed the Department of Immigration, Passports and Nationality to grant Yemeni women the right to obtain a passport document without any requirements other than those stipulated by the article (6) of Law No. (7) of 1990 AD regarding passports, and Article No. (3) of Republican Decree of 1994 regarding the executive regulations of the Passport Documents Law.

The directives of the leadership of the Ministry of Interior to the head of the Immigration, Passports and Nationality Authority demanded facilitating Yemeni women's access to passports in accordance with the conditions stipulated by the law and its executive regulations as an inherent right of Yemeni women and in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
