Riyadh - Saba
An official source in the presidency of the Yemeni parliament has welcomed the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2624, which condemned the Houthi militia for carrying out cross-border terrorist acts and labeled Houthis as a terrorist group subject to the arms embargo, and condemned it for many practices that are inconsistent with international law or humanitarian behavior.
The source considered this an important decision on the path to intensifying international pressure on the terrorist militia, as stated in the decision, and subjecting it to the implementation of international resolutions and local agreements; as well as Iran, the sponsor and funder of the militia.
The source called on the countries of the world to act according to the resolution, which would contribute to the saving of Yemeni blood, protecting international navigation from the threats posed by the Houthi militia, and putting an end to the repeated attacks with ballistic missiles and drones on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the city of Marib and other regions inside and outside Yemen.
