A tripartite agreement was signed Wednesday between the Ministry of Electricity and Energy, the Yemeni Oil Company (PetroMasila), and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen to finance petroleum derivatives and supply more than 70 power generation stations across various governorates.

Al-Barakani receives Arab representatives in UN

Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani received Friday Arab Permanent Representatives in the United Nations discussing with them all tragic situations in Yemen and suffering of Yemeni people over Houthi militia's coup against the state and the militia's continuous rejection to all UN resolutions and peace initiatives made by US and UN envoys for Yemen.

He expressed his appreciation to positions of Arab countries supporting the internationally-recognized government and rejecting Houthi militia's coup against the state, confirming that Arab Nation is the real supporter of the Yemeni people in facing Iranian hand in Yemen.

For their part, the Arab diplomats confirmed that Yemen's issue is their issue in the United Nations, pointing out that Yemen is a central country for Arab Nation.

They expressed their full support to Yemeni legitimacy under the presidency of Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi and to Yemen's security, unity and stability, confirming that they will work with international community to stop Houthi militia's aggression and terrorism.
