Yemeni-European discussions held here today by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Badhib, Minister of Finance Salim bin Bureik and Acting-Ambassador of the EU to Yemen Marion Lyellace and Ambassadors of Germany, Netherlands and Swede.
The deliberations focused on cooperation between Yemen and the EU in different spheres with the purpose of sustaining the economic recovery, general state's budget, peace-building and reconstruction drive.
Dr. Badhib praised the EU's supportive stances in support of Yemen in the crucial sectors including agriculture, food security, enhance livelihoods, support woman, human rights and sustainable peace process.
He highlighted the EU Project intended to support livelihoods, food security and survival in the rural regions.
The project is to be carried out by the UN's agencies in its third phase with total amount $74 million during the time 2022-2025.
