Yemen, Ethiopia discuss promoting mutual relations

Chargé d'affaires of Yemen's Embassy here Yahya al-Eryani discussed Monday with Deputy Head of the Middle East at Ethiopian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Roba Dami means of promoting relations between the two countries in different fields.

Al-Eryani reviewed latest political developments in Yemen and keenness of the government on realizing peace on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council's Resolution 2216, pointing out to Houthi militia's repeated attacks on Yemeni cities by ballistic rockets.

He touched upon a number of issues and difficulties hindering entrance of Yemeni citizens to Ethiopia under exceptional conditions Ethiopia currently witnesses.

For his part, the Ethiopian official confirmed significance of stopping war in Yemen and commencing new and serious political process to make the country away of more destruction and to end suffering of Yemeni people.

He showed keenness on dealing with issues al-Eryani discussed with him.
