The National committee to investigate allegations of human rights violations discussed with the Director General of Aden Police, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, a number of issues and files related to the human rights situation.
The committee also discussed the challenges and difficulties facing police stations, including providing health and food rights to hundreds of detainees in the departments, criminal investigation and security department, in addition to rehabilitating and training security personnel to ensure that they perform the role assigned to them.
The head of the committee, Judge Ahmed Al-Muflihi, affirmed the National Committee's keenness to communicate with the security services in all governorates and to stand with them on the most important developments in the human rights situation and the roles of the security apparatus in safeguarding rights and freedoms and providing guarantees to take care of them.
